Did I fix it or make it worse?
I recently replaced my oil pan and valve cover gaskets because of my oil leakage problem. It was getting kinda dark when I finished, and I didn't notice the oil pan gasket kinda squished out because I over tightened the oil pan bolts. It seems to be there in one piece still, and I did put Perma-Tex on the gasket. Anyone think that could be the reason I am still losing oil? I do lose some around the oil filter adapter and the oil plug (some jackass before I changed my own oil put the plug in kinda sidways, now the hole is cross-threaded and the plug won't sit straight) but seemingly not enough to lose this much oil.

It was Fel-Pro. The instrustions said to use some gasket sealant on it, so I did. I left the valve covers dry. I am fairly certain I over-tightend them a lot. Would it help or hurt if I just loosened them some?
Anything I need....got an oil pan and a new gasket? Or how about enough $$ for labor at the shop to do it right?
