Yes he does mean anti-freeze.

On another note, the next time it won't start for your Mom, have her look to see if the Security light is on.

well in that case yes there is anti-frezze in radiator we live CA we had below 20 degree temp.

And I don't have to ask she took my truck and made me drive her car. It wouldn't start for me today so me and friend got to lookin at it he said he heard nosie coming from what I think is idle air senor on the throttle. I need to test crank sensor but Finals week is exhausting and im driving a car that is being a pain. Well for the advice I will see what I can do this weekend and get back to ya all.

Billboost meant do you notice you coolant reserve tank getting low, or are you refiling it on a regular basis

Ok, here is an update on my similar problem...Shop reported, "needed fuel pump"...way to much $, but I said go for it (fearing that wasn't the problem)...New pump, same problem!-It'* a "weak voltage problem" to the pump. You stated you were getting voltage and the pump was ok, but are you getting enough to properly run the pump? Mine will run the pump , but not enough to "keep the car running properly"..."a drain somewhere". The car will start about every 1 out of 3 times. Scratchin there heads now...guess who just got a free labor install of a fuel pump? But, I still have a problem. Bad EGR prompted my Check engine codes, crank sensor was "ok".
