Default Alternator size

I've got a 98 SSEi and im wondering what size of an alternator the car would have or whereIi can find out what size it is. My old 88LE'* alt was only putting out like about 70 amps or so and would complain lots when i crank the radio. The subs and deck are going into the 98 when I get around to it and I'm hoping the alternator can take the abuse.

Email Ty (Speedguy) at domesticperformance@attbi.com He knows what your stock alt is, and if you go to his website www.domesticperformance.com you'll see some of the best alternators around. He'll hook you up.

I got one of his 200 amp alts installed and my system is running great. I used to see the lights dim a bit every now and then when in gear at idle, but no more. There is enough juice for everything.

My alternator started whining yesterday morning. Last night on the way home, my gauges started fluttering and my radar started telling me "low voltage". What do you think the odds are that Josh'* mom will let me cannibalize his Alt from his broken SSE next door to get to work?

Odds? Depends if they find out or not.
