Default Which alternator do I have?

How do I find out which alternator I have? I was looking at mine and couldn't seem to find any numbers or anything to help.

Best way to tell would be to go into the link in my signature -if your alternator is identical to the one in the pics of my engine, then you more than likely have a 140amp.
If it looks different you probably have the 105 amp.

I'm guessing it'* the 105. I'll run out and take a quick picture after dinner. My sound system is pulling around 800 wrms and the dimming is noticable at night so that also leads me to believe I have the 105 and not the 140. Looks like it'* time to upgrade to the 140.

no need for a pic, go to your spare tire cover and look on the white label, you will see one of these coded

KG9 - generator, 140 amp
KW2 - generator 124 amp
K68 - generator 105 amp

If only that were easy. Right now my sub box sits on top of it so I'll see if I can get access to it.

Isn't the amp rating stamped onto t the alternator housing along with the part numbers and other info? Mine have been.
