Default Alt. problem or bad ground somewhere?

Starting her when cold, she runs fine but after she warms at times the volt gauge fluctuates and the car looses power, eg. lights dim a little. So i bought a battery thinking didnt want to charge or something, but im still getting the same symptoms, any idea? im lost

Clean the other ends of the cables, at the block and at the alt.
