but haro said his was too, and replcaing it didnt fix anything.

well i could have had one today for $10, out of a 97 lesabre... computer said it was the same, but i got in there and tore up the seat and carpet, and it was completely different. the module was hlaf the size, different bolt pattern and im pretty sure the connector was different too. :?

supposedly another JY has one for $50 from a 95 bonneville. im checking it out tomorrow.

haro, you had me scared.. but with the amount of corrosion there was in that thing, i was sure that had to be the problem...
