While my '99 Bonne is down with Deadtrannyitus, it occurred to me I should spend some time fixing my Airbag warning light, so it don't stop me from getting through inspection when the tranny gets found and installed (LOL, I wonder if I could push my car through inspection... no CEL right now).
Anyway, I'm sure my Airbag controller under the passenger seat got wet, and will either need a lot of help or replacement. what is the interchange on this? Should I just stick with '99 H-bodies or can I cast a wider net?
Thanks in advance.

I passed inspection with an air bag light on. NJ does not do safety inspections any more just emissions so you should be fine. Messings with the air bags can be dangerous and I don't recommend it
Best way to know 100% sure is to pull up the carpet and get the number off the old one.
Or ask at the counter of a JY. They typically can print out a list of all the cars to find the compatible part on.

I've worked on enough SRS equipped cars that I don't mind fixing the air bags.
Looks like the interchange is 1998-99 H-bodies.
I really need to get a '90s Hollander, but they are so expensive anymore... and seem less useful every model year.
