Bandit, let'* stick the application here. You converted your SE, and if you can fill them in that manner, you didn't wire or plumb the system to OEM specs.

On HIS car, he cannot do that. Nor can I on either of my cars.

So if i go home. unplug the air like from the compressor and put my Air compressor in the garage up to it, it will not fill?
I think it will just fine.

AND in his question about Can he Fill the Struts like old fashion air shocks. Yes you can. other wise non of use would be able to get after market struts here.

But like i also said in my first post, He could just fix the Air compressor and it would be working.

On a properly converted or OEM car, no you cannot fill the struts from the schrader valve in the trunk. There are checkvalves and a selector valve that prevent it.

By the time you 'tricked' the system to do it, you could have troubleshot to the root cause.

I suggest he checks for power at pump connector when the inflator is selected ON before replacing the pump. He should also check for ground. Not all problems like this are simply the pump.

I fixed driverjohn2005'* with a relay.

Thank you for such great info. this could help others thinking the same thing. On this note, which relay was it that you replaced. I know on the maxi-fuse box under the hood has fuses and relays under the maxi-fuse box. I just dont remember which one the relays is for the air pump.
