air pump question
my air pump on my car didn't work, so my husband took it off and hooked the motor straight to the battery and it worked. you could see it turning and hear it, but when he put it back on the car it didn't work. what else could it be.

Take the power connector that normally plugs into the compressor and probe each lead (wire or pin) to ground with the ignition on, inflator in the trunk on. You're looking for 12 volts.

i just read on here that the compressor on a 97 is under the trunk is that true. we have been messing with something under the hood on the driver side up in front of the car.
