picking up small air bubbles in the oil (the car had a start up clatter after it sat for a while) expland that has anyone run into this problem my thought is the pick-up tube has a air leak in it any thoughts ps 95 3.8 */c

Also, check to make sure that you haven't overfilled the oil reservoir with too much oil. If the oil level gets too high in the sump, the crankshaft could whip it into a foam.

oil is right on the full line and it did it a when it was a little low no on else has seen this prob :?

it,* foming but after it sits it looks norm you could call it milky but it clears up nothing in it but air what'* your thought about the pick-up tube or the pan it has a small dent on the bottom

Bingo. We had another car with that dent. Causing a problem too. Who was that? Get a new pan ASAP. When you swap pans, make sure the pickup and strainer aren't damaged or bent.

repaced the oil filter and I had syn oil in it and repaced it with 30 w oil and still doing it :?
