ya they work great. The only thing I dont like is you have to push the peddle a bit harder now. I dont know why that is but i know its some what due for pads soon aswell
I just did this job on my '94 Bonneville. The line rusted so bad on the pass. side rear where the line bends to meet the frame behind the fuel tank, it when 'pop' when I stepped on my brake pedal hard. I did the job myself, splicing a new piece of brake line instead of replacing all of it for about $20 in parts and a tubing cutter. The flaring tools were borrowed from AutoZone.
NOW THE PROBLEM: still spongy brake pedal. Any good advice on bleeding this system thoroughly with ABS and Traction Control system? My brakes have never been really solid...

Paul, I like the power brake bleeder that is available from Motive products.

It is not exactly inexpensive, however. It bleeds the system well, and turns it into a one person job. It also makes quick work of flushing the brake fluid out of the system. Bleed in the order of - right rear, left rear, right front, and left front.
While you're doing things, check for leaky rear wheel cylinders, and manually adjust the rear brakes by pulling the drums. Both of those have been known to be an issue.

I just had my rear lines on my 94 SSEi replaced as I had the same problem. I had new lines, new wheel cylinders, shoes, and and drums turned with labour for about $400 cdn. The lines were pretty cheap, its the labour that took up a lot of that cost!
BTW Waterloo is my home town. I went to WCI (many years ago mind you).
Good luck!
