Uhmm I had the grinding noise and it was because my fluid level sensor wasnt plugged in when I put it in , the grinding stopped if yours is in maybe you should clean the connection with electronics cleaner .

How bad is it to have the wheel speed sensors changed? When i had my car in the shop about two weeks ago they said there were codes relating to three different speed sensors, plus the modulator (which was changed for $1K). They said that sometimes the speed sensors will give error messages when the modulator is also broken.

I didn't have any problems for about a week, but just yesterday my ABS and Traction Off lights were on again. I think it might be a different problem than the modulator because now i don't hear the grinding noise by the front drivers' side tire like i did before (that is where the modulator is located).

Have you changed the speed sensors yourself willwren?
