Hey, if the light comes and goes, it sounds more like a wheel speed sensor crudded up or a corroded connector. If the PMV or pump fails, it FAILS. It could also be a level sensor in the little reservior. Check your brake fluid level in the master cylinder and that little reservior. Remove and clean all 4 wheel speed sensor connectors and the big monster at the PMV.

Check the EBCM (electronic brake control module) connector inside the car as well.

It'* under the carpet to the right of the gas pedal. Mounted on the firewall, roughly behind the stereo. Draw a line from the shifter to the front of the car. Draw a line from the top of the gas pedal to the right. Where they intersect, look under the carpet.

Disconnect and re-connect this one several times. Use electrical contact cleaner and dielectric grease on all these connectors.

Ayup. I think that'* Thing Number One that the manual tells you to check if _both_ those lights come on at the same time.

I know mine was extremely finicky: I looked at the reservoir when my warning lights came on, thought "Sheesh, it'* not _that_ low," but went ahead and added fluid to the Full mark anyway, and sunovagun, that was the whole problem. (The actual cause later on turned out to be a leaky master cylinder, although it was working okay at the time; the lights were triggered only by the low fluid level.)

I havent gotten a chance to check all my connectors, but i did check the fluid levels and they look fine but ill double check , i couldnt really see the abs pump level that good. But today my ABS decided to come on all by it self while i was slowing down form 10MPH.So im gonna need to do some thing this weekend. Im gonna go over every thing cause i need to to my half shaft and it would be a perfect time to take a look. thank you every one for the input put so far will update when done or if it gets worse.

If you weren't braking hard when the ABS started pulsing, it could be an indication of an intermittent connection at one of the wheel speed sensors. If one of them stops seeing wheel movement, and the adjacent one on the opposite side still sees movement, it'll think one is locked up.

I'm beginning to think more and more about your WSS connections or the EBCM connection. Just go in there and disconnect/clean/dielectric grease all the connections:

4 WSS'*
PMV
EBCM

At that low of road speed without applying the brakes.... If the antilock light is off and you hear the noise( ABP Pump ) then the EBTCM has ran its self test... This happens between 1st and 2nd gear at very low speed... If after that the ABS light lights you may have an issue with a wheel speed sensor..

If the light stays on when you start the car, you could have a bad inlet outlet pressure sensor/switch...

Run some of the tests stated above and see what happens..

I happened to get lucky enough that a member found an ABS pump on a 95 for my 95... And its still functional to this day... I think it was 40 bucks at the wrecker... But you have to keep in mind that even the wrecker unit could be in failure mode.. I just happened to get lucky
