Default IAC? whould it mess with my acceloration?

I took it out to clean it when I did the TB and I pulled it a little too hard and pulled the plunger out of the sensor(?). Can this make the car accelorate slowly/poorly?

yes, it is used to add a little more air under wot.
Normal driving - its just used for to control idle.

so where can I get a new/used one from?

When I "fixed it" I pushed the plunger in about halfway, thats probably the reason it idle at about 1200rpm cold right?

whats really weird is that I got 34mpg highway(70-75mph) on a resent trip to Chicago.

Any L36 or L67 92 + up IAC will work.

and yup, thats probably the cause of the higher idle.

Cool thanks...

I just looked at AutoZones website and they have them for $32. I'll probably get mine checked first, But I'm pretty sure it'* broke.
