99 SLE misfire problems
I have a 99 SLE bonneville, non-supercharged. I have a check engine light, which I got scanned at Auto Zone, which gave me a "general" ignition fault code. My bonneville, misfires around 25 to 30 mph, and is running slightly above the usual RPM'*. For example it usually is about 2100 RPM'* at 70mph, but it is doing about 2400 RPM'* instead, killing the mpg'*. Any help would be appreciated, I did own a 91 Bonneville before and changed the electronic package (like a distributor), and that fixed it, but I wanted some feedback before I try that route.
if you have a misfire or a multiple misfire the Check engine light will be flashing.... we need to know what cylinder or cylinders the misfire is....
coils
plugs
wires
are the first things to check

And you need a better definition of the codes that are stored in the computer... Such as P0xxx or P1xxx this will give us a better idea of what the computer is looking at and what fault it sees as well as giving us a direction to go in
