97 ssei dash light problem
i guess there is a curse... for some reason i cant get my dash lights ot work.... they worked one time i was in the car.. the next time they were out... not speedometer.. no stereo, no air controls.. they are all out... anyone know of this being a common problem and what can be dont about it??

The rheostat for the dash illumination often gets a dead spot. Frequently just a lot of dust gathers at the top of the element to break contact. Try turning the light dimmer ring around the headlight switch back & forth a few times to see if you get a response.

Not sure about the 97, but on my 93 the ring is for the headlight off delay for twilight sentinel. The **** itself turns as the dimmer. Check all your fuses, too. Your owners manual should be a help with that.
