Default 97 SE, check engine light, code P135

I have a 97 SE, 108K miles. Yesterday the check engine light came on. My Actron OBD II tester pulled code P135. The book says "O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction Bank 1 Sensor 1".

Does this mean I need to replace O2 sensor? If so, is it dealer item? Where exactly is it located?

Thanks in advance.

Mike

Is the other O2 labeled 0 or 2? I thought the manifold sensor was #0, and the cat sensor was #1? I might be wrong here.

Ooops.....just checked Techinfo. Damn double sensors. It'* 1 and 3. The #1 is in the rear exhaust manifold. Looks like a spark plug. Sticking straight up. It still could be a wire, but most likely the sensor itself.

Buy it from www.gmpartsdirect.com, and stick with AC Delco. No Bosch for sure.
