I'd consider the ignition module after you try the coils. I had the same problem on a Series 1 3800 and it turned out to be the ignition module.

Put on a different coil,still the same...but when i go to fuel rail and check pressure with car turning over i get pressure but with car turned off i get no pressure on the valve at all,fuel pump problem?also the gas gauge acts up....thinking a bad or loose fuel pump??

The regulator is on the fuel rail with a vac line going to it. Underneath the black cap on the rail is a schrader valve where you can check the fuel pressure.

Guys I put on a j/yard fuel pump and the car works like new...now going to find out why when i floor it the check engine light starts flashing..cat converter?

well guys i was wrong went out this morning(cold) would not crank again??i notice if you just turn the key over for like a second it acts like it wants to crank,if you turn the motor over and over if seems not to fire>?what can this be

Flashing check engine light is a possibly catalyst damaging condition.
In my limited experience the only time I saw this was when I had a bad coil. The kicker of the issue was.(it was summertime BTW) the coil tested bad at that moment. When the car cooled, the coil was testing good. I know it'* cold, but you need to test those coils before you try cranking the car over. I think it'* possible you have a bad coil or ICM that only acts up under cold conditions.
