96 transmission
replaced the plugs, wires, pvc valve. cleaned up the ground bus, though there was little corrosion. all the plugs looked good except one had white corrosion on the wire end.
hopefully my "transmission" problem is resolved.

stalled out on the highway this morning. sheesh.
good news is i kept kicking the panel until I made it to a gas station. then I figured out that the metal plate in the ground bus comes out and scraped it on some cement to make a good connection. Should be all set now finally.
Thanks for all of your help.

Classic...thanks I'm still laughing.
I'd suggest going a little further and adding dielectric grease to keep it from corroding in the future.

It ran so nicely this morning. this afternoon when i let it warm up, it was idling at 3000 rpm. i shut it down and restarted. then i drove home with what seemed to be 4 or 5 cylinders.
