96 Sunroof
Ok guys.. So my sunroof is NOT working!
I put a 25 A CB fuse in the fuse slot where the sunroof fuse is supposed to go. It calls for a 20 A CB. This DID NOT WORK!
So my question to you all is.. Is it my sunroof motor? No used parts place has a motor, but they said I can use one from a 94? Any answers? THANKS!

Check your switch to make sure that didn't die on you. Try Auto Parts Fast at RockAuto and see if they have motors. I've had real good luck with them.

Was your old fuse blown? If not, that'* not your problem. Check for voltage at the switch, if you have voltage there and it goes threw the switch, (do a continuity test, off nothing, on you will have tone) If all that checks out, the motor may have simply died. What happens a lot is the brushes simple wear out.

Sunroof Motor Search
If you need a motor, try e-bay. I searched for a motor for my 2001 SSEi, and one of the listings included the manufacturers part number. With that information, I discovered that the motor that fits my 2001 Bonneville also fits a 1998 - 2005 Cadillac Seville and Deville, a 2004 - 2006 Saturn Vue, and many Buick and Chevrolet models. I was able to locate many more Saturn sunroof motors at much better prices on e-bay. They all had pictures, and sure enough they are the same motor. I was quite surprised.
One more thing. If you don't have a fuse - then you can't really tell what'* wrong. I'd take the old one out and go to an Autozone or similar parts place. Even Wal-Mart will have the relay.
Good luck!
