I'm contemplating replacing the trunk lid on my '95 Bonneville. The paint on mine is peeling very badly and I've found one at a junk yard that'* the right color and in very good shape. Theone thing

Okay, somehow I accidentally posted this while I was typing, so let me pick up where I left off.
The only thing holding me back from jumping in with both feet is the lock. There'* not a key available for the donor trunk lid. The way I see it, there'* two possible alternatives"
1. Have a locksmith re-key the cylinder in the replacement trunk lid
2. Swap the lock cylinder from my existing trunk lid.
So which alternative is more feasible?
I appreciate your replies.
