94 would be the same as 95 TMK, however I'm not seeing in the picture where the bolt is in the way.

Once in a while a line is close or almost in the way and a little gentle persuasion will move it enough w/o needing to remove or disconnect it.

The line was in the way of the bolt and in order to get to it, we had to remove the oil line. We tried going at it with an open end wrench as well as the swivel you see on the extension while the line was on and there was no way to get at it without risking damaging the oil line by bending or puncturing it.

Its not that hard to remove, just make sure you can see the bolts when your turning them so your not turning the line instead of the bolt.

You maybe a one of a kind case with that one, but we'll see how it pans out when I head under there this next weekend.

So if I understand this correctly, on the 95 SSEi that oil pan gasket should only cost around $20.00 US. shipped and it's a cork gasket? And the re & re should take about 1 to 2 hours after the car has been put up on jack stands?

Same here. There was absolutely no way to get to that front bolt without undoing that line. Even if there wasn't a bolt there, undoing that line would make it much easier to position the oil pan for reinstall.

The oil level sensor probably gets caught up on the windage tray in the series 2 only since you guys all have series 1 and no windage tray.

Good information on that oil line as well....keep the good info coming.

My Oil pan gasket was rubber. Part number 12350249

Ours have windage trays too....but built into the oil pan itself, not removable like you make the S2's sound like. In fact, I can get a pic up here of the oil pan later today. (Came off of a 92 SE to replace my 93 SSEi pan that someone used as a jacking point prior to my ownership). What got me was even the standard 3800 had a windage tray in it as well...
