That's what it was looking like to me...but I wasn't sure. I didn't see any cooler lines in the way, of course I didn't look too hard around the harmonic balancer area.

The series 2 or 96+ SC cars have a plastic windage tray gasket. Whereas the 92-95 series 1 SC cars have a cork/rubber gasket.

There's the price difference. ;)

While I have been under my car allot, I have never been under a 95 soooo if yours is the same set up as mine, then the only thing i recommend is removing the oil line that goes to the oil filter mount. There was a bolt in there that couldnt be reached easily.

Could that have been done with a swive socket or no?

94 I guessing is gonna be about just the same as 95 I would imagine.
