I own a real clunker 95 Bonneville with 175k miles. My p/* has been making lots of noise for a while now. I have been using Lucas fluid and that helped a lot. My mechanic told me he is unsure if there is a p/* problem or a rack and pinion problem.
Can anyone offer any test I can perform to find the root of the problem. Or any tips how to not spend anything at all.
