Default '95 Olds 88 rack and pinion issue.

My year old steering rack has developed about an 1-1/2 slack on the left side. This is with the wheel of the ground and the engine off. Its coming from the inner tie rod. All other components are tight so I am assuming the rack is shot (under warranty). Theres no fluid leaks, just alot of slop. Rock Auto is showing a rack for 15 or 16in wheels. My rig came with 15'* but I swapped over to 16'* along time ago. Is there big difference in the racks?

Default

It might be a beefier design for the 16" wheels.
