94 BVille starts fine than dies (FIXED)
Find the fuel pump prime lead. It'* an empty green connector located above the battery. Get a piece of 8 gauge wire, put a 20 amp (I think that size) fuse on it and connect the battery positive to the lead. That should make the fuel pump try to run continuosly without the car running.

also the pressure/volume was poor. I dont need a gauge to see fuel only trickle from the schrader valve.
A Taxi cost me $40 to get the pump and it would have been the same if I went and bought a fuel pressure gauge. $40 Taxi + $40 Gauge. I havent needed a fuel pressure gauge in 47 Years so I felt no real need to get one now. I would rather take a chance and get a better pump.
So I knew from the beginning that I wanted a new Delco pump and screen.(no matter what)
When I removed the sending unit I noticed the pump wasent connected correctly to the tube (poor mount or installation) that would let the pressure leak out.
I installed the new pump and it fits very nice on the tube and now I have piece of mind as well.
I will install the tank tomorrow and see if it runs.
Has anyone here ever needed to replace the fuel pump relay?

On the FP relay. It'* a relay..so it can go bad, however your small amount of fuel would make one thnk it'* working. You could pull it, test it for continutiy in the energized state.
I have seen the contacts in some relays get carboned and while the relay engergizes..it can be making poor or no contact if the build up is too great. Although I haven't seen that in normal automotive relays to date.

Hey Bill... What relay could he swap as a test?
And BTW Mark.... After all of the issues I have seen with the Autozone and Advance Pumps, AC Delco was the only way for me to go... And here it is well over 1 year later the Pump is functioning great....
My Original Pump was still functioning and at times within Spec... Once it got warm the Pressure would Sink like a Rock.... I was easily able to drop to 32 Psi when the lowest spec'd for me was 48.... Its not to friendly running low on pressure at 6000 Rpms... <---- This is when I figured I had a fuel related issue and started checking... I would get 45psi with no Vac, and 38-40 with Vac applied... I was able to run on that for a while.. Noticed the car getting sicker, and knock counts went through the roof... Checked the pressure again and found the 32psi..... I dropped the tank and installed the new AC Delco... Been good ever since

FIXED! I almost forgot how excited I get after I fix stuff.
before when I turned the key to on I could here the pump go on to pressurize so I could hear it run.
when i depressed the schraeder valve there was very little pressure or volume for that matter. But for me to get to the store to buy a fuel pump gauge it was almost as much to get the pump (Taxi Ride).
So I FINALLY got up the nerve to remove the tank and noticed the pump wasent seated well on the tube I was hopeful that was the problem (technically the fuel was just leaking back into the tank and wasent able to pressurize the line correctly.
So swap the pump for a new Delco, install a new sock and filter, replace the tank and VOILA!
BigRed is alive again.
