Default 94 Bonnie AC clutch removal

My 94 Bonneville is having AC clutch problems. Friday night It was throwing sparks and smoking. I was surprised it didn't completely freeze up. I am sure that If I ran It much longer It would have.
I read Dan'* thread on how to remove the AC compressor.....Very Helpful!.
So my Question Is can I remove/replace the clutch without removing the compressor? It would save me from having to evacuate and recharge the system. It looks pretty tight down there for a puller but I thought I should ask.
I ordered the new clutch from NAPA today and it will be in Tuesday.
Thanks for any help. Brian

You can undo the 3 bolts holding the compressor to the bracket and then push the compressor back to give you more room. It will still be tight, but should be able to do it.
