Default 93 ssei Heater question

Car has the digital climate control,I cant figure out how to get the heater to blow out the dash ac vents......if I lower the temp to 60,it will go there, but in zero degree weather, not an option. If I run it in the auto mode it goes to floor mode with some mix coming out the defrost vents, manually there doesnt appear to be any way to put any hot air out the dash.Car is a 93 ssei....Any ideas would be greatly appreciated by my wife!

Being a 93, you can't do what you'd like.

Starting in 95 GM allowed control of where the air is directed. Before 95, you are at the mercy of the system.
