'93 SE MAF in '92 SSEi

'93 SE MAF in '92 SSEi
Hi everyone!!
I'm a new member to the forum even though I have visited here before to find many answers to common problems with my '92 SSEi....I was wondering if anyone can tell me the difference between a '93 SE MAF and a '92 SSEi MAF? My '92 SSEi MAF sensor was bad and when I went to the local auto recycling facility, they didn't have one and gave me a MAF from a '93 SE (they said it would work). Well it drop right in place and solved my 'no idle' problem, but the idle is about 350 rpms higher now. If I use the '93 SE MAF is it going to cause engine damage?

The SSEi MAF is designed for the flow of the SSEi with the Supercharger. You need the proper MAF for your car.
