Default 93 lower intake install thread locker ?

The factory service manual states to use a thead locker on the lower intake manifold bolts, GM # 125345493. Is this the Lock tite blue or red stuff ?

Bill.. blue or red are fine. I think red is a stronger bond, however at under 20lbs of torque it will not make a difference.

BTW.. welcome.. couldn't help but notice you are from CT.. Check the eastern meets section there is a big meet happening in Enfield CT the 21-23 of the month.. would be great to have you up for the meet.

Thanks for the reply. I will get the blue thread locker tommorow. Might as well finish the job since I can't do anything else this rainy weekend. Have to get the Bonneville road worthy as it my driver for the winter while the new GTO will be stored. The '93 has been a great car, as I am the orginial owner.
I should drive the goat up to the meet. I am into all types of Pontiacs new and old. Went to Wallingford for the POCI, great variety there. Look forward to getting to another outing before the cold comes.

Nice stable of old Pontiacs there, Bill. My play car is a '72 Grandville 455 convertible.
