Default 92 ssie power steering loud whine

i get a loud steering noise just when turning right and sometimes going stright no noise when turning left can only has 76,000 miles not ure if its a pump or maybe the rack anyone had this problem

When was the last time the fluid was changed? If its old, I use a turkey baster to suck the old stuff out and dump in some new fluid. I think STP makes a fluid with stuff thats supposed to help the seals and it worked for my '89.

I'd suck out the fluid, run it with new, then suck it out a couple more times to cycle out as much old fluid as possible.

...or do it the right way and disconnect a hose, pump it all out, flush it, then refill....

i changed a bunch of it out i used the turkey baster and sucked out as much as i could replaced with lucas power steering conditioner it seemed to get a little quitier for a couple days i just dont want to replace the pump and find out its the rack
