Default 92 Fuel strainer quicky...

An original 92 fuel pump uses a different strainer than a new 92 pump. If you get a new pump for your 92, it comes with the correct strainer. If you get just a new strainer to put on your original 92 pump, it mounts a little differently, and is just a little shorter, than the newest design. The original 92 strainer was too short, and caused stalling and sputtering on right hand turns when the fuel was low enough. The redesigned strainer for that 92 pump is longer and fixes the problem. There has since been a small redesign for the replacement pumps that requires a different strainer.

That said, I've got a redesigned strainer for an original 92 fuel pump, if anyone wants it.

Mmkay, it seems I might have the wrong pump. But here'* the strainer that should go on the original pump.

Here'* the one that came with the new pump, which may not even work.

They are NOT INTERCHANGEBLE!!
