Glad you jumped in here, Tony. That'* a really good point that could only come from someone with that era of Bonny. Makes me wonder what I can reach that way, too. I'd seriously consider changing the pump myself......you can save a ton of cash, and it'* actually one of the simpler procedures, if you have a 15 dollar service manual.

I try to do my own work to save a few $$--$1000 is way too high! Seems like he wants to take a vacation on your $$ or something.
On my Bonne there'* a plastic cover w/some clips on it-just pull them out and seems to be alot of stuff that'* reachable--although I didn't get a chance to really look very well-it was getting dark! :P
