Default 40th anni. crank trigger blues

OK I picked up a 40th anni. bonnie, drove it to my moms and it died, no spark. The tec II says i need a crank triger no big deal. Well i can't get the freakin balancer off all the other ones i've done slide right off. Has any one else had this problem and if so how did you solve it. This thing is stuck at my moms 2 hours away so i can't be driving back and forth 50 times trying diffrent things, please help

you need to use a HB puller with 3.5" - 4" bolts...



did you try that?

man do i feel dumb as a brick. Just looked at one i have off the "threads" are behind the slots.

Some people have used 1/4" x 28 with success too. You'll need 4" long bolts at least depending on the puller.

ok i'm digging through all my pullers and i'm thinking i'm gonna have to go find these bolts some where . any one wanna pipe in as to where to ge a 4 inch long 6 mm bolt or where i can find a puller that will work

i rented mine from autozone and bought the bolts from menards

the bolts that come with the puller are NOT the correct ones
