Default 2 Driver Side Window Problems...

First problem. The window doesn't close correctly. It closes perfect until it is about 1 or 2 cm from the top then it seems to get caught on something and goes off the track and doesn;t seal correctly. The hright side ends up barly going to the seal as the left side is still exposed. In the pic below the yellow line represents the top of the window.

And two, there is this brown crap that seems like rust, but I don't see any metal. This is the driver side front window, the one between the window that rolls down and the windshield. idk what it is or how to fix it.

First: It sounds like you have a broken clip. Not sure what type these cars have (glue on or snap on). If you tear into it and find out one'* broken, make sure you check into why it broke (bent track, etc) before you just replace it, or you'll be replacing it again.

Second: I have no idea. Clean it up and see if it comes back?

Yeah, something internal is definitely causing your window to either stick or go out of track. Could be something as simple as gunk in the track. Take the door panel off and have a look-see.

As for the second picture, it is rust. There'* a metal frame under all that trim. I got a bit of it myself.

my 94 is real bad both sides. The 97 is starting on the drivers. No doubt some sort of design flaw.
