Default 1997 SSEi Update

Ok everyone, I'm back with an update on my 97. While Randman'* body shop has stalled the Frankenbonne project for a couple of weeks I picked up my 97. And of course it needed a few things aroud the edges. Thanks Randy for all the parts so far and hopefully I can put in another request. (It'* awesome that he took apart a 97!)

Drivers window was scratched - Replaced w/glass from Randy...nothing was causing the scratches. Glass must have been reused from previous door that got hit.
Illuminated entry switch - Fixed thanks to BC members and pics.
Power antenna - Replaced, again thanks Randy. Pat was in the trunk via laptop and oversaw the project..lol
First engine cleaning - Done before the first wash and wax.
Valve cover gaskets - Got them done the other night. Needed another really good engine cleaning, which Mechanic Dan did while it was up on the lift last night.
A/C compressor - New and put in by Mechanic Dan last night ( I held the oil cooler lines...)
Transmission fluid and filter change - All set, at Mechanic Dan'* last night
Door panel trim on D/* and P/* front doors broken - Fixed...thanks Randy...did I mention it'* great to have a 97 parts warehouse local?
Light in drivers door needed - Currently need one...I stole from the 95.

Next on list: P/* tie rod and alignment - found while on lift last night.
Clean splash shield still off from tool retrevial during valve cover job.
Clean motor again. The cleaner it is...the cooler it'll run. No need for an insulating blanket of oil, sludge and road filth.
Get another D/* sun visor (torn)
EDIT: SC coupler needs to be done also.

That should take care of the necessities. Then I can drive and start allowing the mod bug to have a little time.

You want the same pics you've seen already...those are the only ones I have.

Ohhhh I did take some of the antenna...I'm you know where and don't have access to my camera. Will post them later.

You want pics of a dirty glove or something to prove the valve covers were done?

Noooo actually I was happy I didn't have to crawl over the console!

I forced it back and forth a couple times and all of a sudden it'* freed up again. And works...so for the night..it stays and I don't take the door apart yet.
