Check if the door seal pulled away at the lower roof pillar area. Its about directly accross from the bottom of the window toward the front of the car. This is a more common area for the water to come in.

Add the sunroof to that list of Don'*. On a sunroof equipped car, those drains are the first thing to look at. They'll drain right down the inside of the A-pillar trim on each side if the drains are disconnected or leaky.

I dont have a sunroof so that eliminates that. I did notice that the black seal type stuff on my drivers door, the part that runs at a 45 degree angle, somehow got bent and folded in, i have it out now but it doesnt fit snuggley against the car. would that cause a problem?[/img]

Anyway, moneyman, it makes sense for you to replace the door weatherstripping if you already have a gap at the floor, but you might want to try the test method that Sandrock mentioned first.
