Before you do anything, verify that you have power to Pin E at the transmission connector.

Thanks for the tip. I have had a suspicion about it being an electical connection instead of 3 solenoids going out and cruise at the same time. This engine gets hot and I already had to replace the washer hose and shield it from drying out as well as a pin hole in the nylon plastic fuel line to the injectors and other rubber parts drying out. This problem and the ABS & Traction control light staying on are my major problems. (The ABS sensors are OK and I think its a connection in the wires that have moisture but haven't pinpointed the area yet)
In case my mech can't find it, where is the transmission connector pin E? Can you give me a diagram or send me to a site.
I understand that this tranny 4T60E -HD was specific to one year, 1996 and only specific solenoids to that tranny will work?

4T65-E solenoids are the same regardless of the year.

I do not have a diagram but I believe that one may be posted on this site.
