Hello all...

Now that I have the 1998 SSei and just ordered a set of the Helms service manuals, I find that the ones I had for my 1992 SSei are now surplus to me...
These manual sets, for those without them, are invaluable! All the questions one has are generally answered and answered well! These sets are $120 new from GM/Helms....
You see them once in a while on EbaY but not very often.....and they generally go high!

Here'* what I have:

A)--an excellent set of 3 manuals-Helms/GM( book1,2,3) for the bonnevilleSSe and SSei. They cover everything! I bought these new 3 years ago and they are nearly mint.They are the ones you order from your owner'* manual( I got tired of trying to get a complete set on ebay)......How'*.....say.........$US60 plus postage to wherever.......

B)--a single bonneville SSe and SSei book #2(helms-same as above)-covers just the drivability and emmissions(6E) and the also the electrical diagonsis(8A). I bought this one 1st on Ebay then got the complete set( above) afterwards. It'* in good condition.......US$20 plus postage

C)--a complete service manual( helms/GM-same as the SSe and SSei ones) but this very thick book just covers the Bonneville SE. It'* nearly as thick as the 3 SSei ones together!!!!! I bought this on ebay not realizing it was only for the SE. Excellent shape and a good chance for any of you with an SE......same comprehensive info as the 3 set books for the more complicated SSEi'* :? ........$US30 plus postage

As for the 92 SSEi, well that will have to wait for now, Wife will not let spend anymore money on projects right now, especially since I just tore apart my Series II engine & I'm starting to rebuild it now as well into a 700hp SC version of it'* former self!

Okay, I think I can answer.....offering A and C are different.....offering B is just #2 book same as in offering A....okay, a duplicate..#2 of 3

So........,in summary, offering A): is the 3 book set for SSe and SSei for 1992 ; offering C): is a stand-a-lone large book just for the SE model for 1992, different from any of the books in the A set of 3( I suspect though, the info contained is in the other 3 somewhere...?but they concentrate on the NA version of the 3800 more?)

I think the 4 books in total will cover every model of bonneville nicely........confused?

If you wanted the set of 4 different books, then, including postage, I would take the US$90 or $120 Loonies.......( it will probably cost $20 to mail as they are verrrry heavy!!!!!) so it'* basically C$100 for the set of 4...I'm giving them away!......

I am not set up for paypal but a cheque would be fine......

Okay on the 1992 SSei...I understand........I also have too many projects on the go.....this one would just add to the "pressure" at home here too! :? That'* why it has to go......
If anyone else in the area, or not( Michigan, Hawaii, Florida..... ) , wants a crack at this project, then see the post in the for sale section, get your Loonies together and drive it away......
