Default 1992 bonneville camshaft bearings

Hello everybody Im new here A few weeks ago My bonnie started to play surging stalling and all types then It started making a straging metallic chirping sound when the engine was hot
computer said camshaft sensor sure enough it need changing plus the magnet was loose right fixed that checked timing whilst i was down there changed the chain and tensioner and the crankshaft magnet cool when like a dream till it heated up the noise started again okay to keep a long story short narrowed down the possibilitys to camshaft bearings with the help of your wonderful forum THANKS Now my question is how do I get to them with out taking the engine out ????? If that is even possible?

You may be able to drop that side of the cradle and ... overall that'* a big ewwww.

It'* been my understanding that the crank has to come out to change them. If that'* the case..then the motor has to come out.
