Default wont start

so the car wont start now after i replaced the balancer. i think it might have somthing to do with the crankshaft sensor i replaced too. is ther any kond of adjustments to be made on that?

Did you center the crank sensor between the rings on the harmonic balancer?

yeah it might not be perfect but it looks even on each side. would that cause it to not get spark?

It could cause no spark, no fuel injector pulse & could damage the sensor if the balancer makes contact with it.

Has no spark been confirmed?

If it is an adjustment issue, you should be able to hear a metallic clicking noise as the balancer teeth rub the sensor.
If it isn't rubbing, you may have a bad connection at the plug-in for the sensor.
Confirming there is no spark is the first and easiest step.

yeah there is no spark when i the motor is cranked if i hold the plug to ground it doesnt spark im prety sure its getting fuel because it smells like its flooded. i just put in the third crank sensor and still nothin. i checked over all the wires from the plug under the alternator all the way to the coils didnt see anything wrong. im trying to see if theres any power coming to that plug under the alternator but i cant find my voltmeter after i threw it im so pissed i need this car to run

If it ran before the balancer change and nothing now, you need to check the crank sensor and make sure the balancer has 2 rings on the back side. If you have done no other work than the balancer, you should start where the work was done last. Assuming the car was running before you started the work.

try a cheap pcm fromthe junk yard....or did you try to jump start it..?

jumping it doesnt help at all. tommorrow before work ill try to get a hold of a pcm
