Default widest tires

Ok what'* the widest tire that will fit on my stock 15 inch aluminum rims? If I can't get the width i'm looking for I guess i'll be shopping for some new rims and possibly 16 or maybe 17 inch wheels.

i'm also running 215/65/15'*
Was thinking about going with 225/60/15'*
Maybe I'll just wait and go with some larger rims when the time and finances are right.

You should be able to go with 225/60 R 15'* most all of the tires I looked at will go on a 6"-8" rim and I believe yours is a 6.5" rim so you should be fine. Also it will not mess up you reading to much either at 100 mph you speedometer will show 101.46 mph which is great.

If for cosmetic reasons, anything that wlll fit is fine (too wide may wear the centers out) but if for performance reasons I like to match the tread width to the rim width. This keep the inside of the tread from lifting in a hard corner.
