im getting the whole car for free, i am gonna part it out. the car is falling apart. It has a bose stereo too. What would the difference in the gear ratio make? my car has the 3.33 ratio.

the buick probably has higher gears so expect better fuel economy then your old transmission, but your take offs won't be as spectacular as before with a higher geared transmission but you'll be able to cruise at higher speeds on the highway with less RPM'* so everything should balance out.
