It takes a lot of high miles and/or thrashing and/or poor maintenance to get any Buick 3.8/3800/3800S2/3800S3 to skip a tooth or break a timing chain. It'* almost unheard of.
I'd be curious what caused two to give up on yours.
Everybody else here hasn't been back in at least 16 years though, FYI.

Quick explanation: This thread got revived by a spammer a few days ago. It was difficult to tell if they were a spammer, or just a victim of adware inserting ad links. Now it is clear that they were a spammer. They have been banned and their posts have been removed.
