Default Tail lights

I just bought an 89 SSE at an MTO auction for $90. Everything looks good, but tail lights are needed. A friend of mine said he had an 89 Bonneville for parts. Does anyone Know if the tail lights on other bonnevilles will fit in the SSE??? :?:

just the tail lights from the SSE models are the same.

Has anyone tried this when looking for parts?

MTO? Ministry of Transportation Ontario?

Check a local wrecker yard. If you are in Ont. like I'm thinking you are, check out Cooksville Wreckers in Mississauga. Or any other wrecker for that matter

it should work. the only differance i have noticed between the sse and other bonnevilles are that the sses have smoke linses, and always have seperate turn signal indicators. if the new tail lights dont have the turn signal indicator, you could probably use the outside light on the tail light. the mounting and such is the same. have fun with it, and dont be afraid to break out the duct tape

I used the lights of my 91 le...not the all red ones..they worked fine the only thing i had to do was swap them, they dont look that bad..but for a picky person like me..id like the original sse lights.

MTO was Ministry of Transportation Ontario. I will try to make them fit, but I have a feeling i'm gona end up paying more for the lights than i did for the whole car.

if all else fails or you wand to be a real creative cheapo, just make your own. when you make your own, you can have them exactly what you wanted. the perfect mod for the already modded hout car
