Default Strut tower brace?

Hey fellas.
I am going to the yard to pick up my delco coils. While I am there, I will probably pick up a strut tower brace, the long metal bar between the struts.

What I'd like to know, is what years will fit, and if it will work on my 91? Will I need to modify anything? Should the brake master cylinder cap clear it, or will that be an issue?

What improvements can I expect from this brace to make it worthwhile? (convince me, and i'll get it) Should be dirt cheap, as no one would never need one. lol
Thanks.

Any 1992-1999 bar will fit.

I procured mine from a '92 Park Av/LeSabre.

I had no fitment issues, but apparently the 1988-1990 SSE guys with the TEVES system have some cap clearance problems. I had to remove the bar in order to get easy access to the HVAC blower motor, but other than that, it'* HUGELY worthwhile. Don't hesitate to do it.

I cleared the master cylinder just fine on my TEVES system. You should be fine too. You can get the bar off any h-body that is equipped with it. Cost me $5.00.

Same here, no problem with the teves system on mine either. I got it off a lasabre I think. Paid about 5-10$ for it. Bolts right up.

Yup, while attaching my strut back on the car, a while back, (september) i broke the bolt off. Yikes, stupid me. Well, its getting 4 new struts and springs as well as complete set of new bushings, in the spring, so I'll replace the bolt or mount.
For now, I just welded the stud to the body. Temporary repair..

Tim you must do this. I actually had an alingment done after the bar was installed. The difference on highway on ramps is amazing. Mine bolted right up also- got it for nothing and it was off a 93 SE. No issues with the clearance.
