my radio has something wrong with it where whenever it rains or is really humid/moist out, it makes these terrible popping and high pitched squeling noises and it pisses me off like crazy cause other than its annoying and painful, but i also cant listen to it. has this ever happened to anyone before? should i just get a new one? could be the speakers? i dont know, replies appreciated, thanks
heres a pic, its not mine but its just like it:

hah mine pops alot too...i guess they're just getting old. I am living with it for now until I get rid of my car and get into another one. But if you plan to keep the car...just replace it with a cheap HU or something!
Yep mine does it as well.... passenger door 3.5" does it. It'* not humidity that does it, it does it a really bad when it'* cold, or when radio signal has ANY static [very sensitive]. But after the speaker has been used for a while, or if the heat has warmed the car up it'll calm down to barely noticable. My guess is it'* wiring, but I have no idea. I don't worry about it, because eventually I will upgrade the stereo.

With the SSE its going to be either the Gain Amp, or the CDM( Stereo tuner amp section )
