Default power window probs

hi all!

I have the problem that my powerwindows in the front won't work and i have checked the switches and they are fine. I bought two windows assembles from a 89 but they don't fit. Does anybody have pictures of the 1991 SE Model so i can make sure that my windows assembles haven't been changed with something else. Any help will be appreciated. My car seems to be original so i am realy confused.

Greetings

Tigger

Unless your glass fell in the door you should be looking at replacing just the motors.

As SSE mentions, the motors in the 87-91'* were known to get tired over time and become slow, sluggish finally stopping all together. Once you have verified that power gets to the motor when the switches are pressed, it should be a motor change out to put you back in business.
