Default Power Window motor change Wow what a job!

Did my Pass side window motor today on the SSE as it was 86 Deg. out.
What a job! Had to drill an access hole to get at one of the three motor rivets.
Then pop out two main assembly rivets to get the motor out.
Took about 2 1/2 hrs when all was said and done.
Also took the opportunity to loctite the door speaker screws and tighten the two
inside bolts that hold the door handle on. (it was loose).
Ah the joys of springtime.............

Did you replace it with a new or reman motor? Any improvement in the window speed?

Default motor

New GM delco motor. It now works fast.
The old motor would go down ok but on the way up it would stop half
way. Then you let it cool off and it would go up 1" at a time.
I got around this by never bringing the window more than half down. But recently
got tired of it. Especially when a passenger in the car brought the window all the way down.
