ok,my 89 SSE at idle,the idler makes a really loud click,atleast i think its the idler,its coming from that area,and 2,000+ RPM,it goes away

this is Vin C engine,no possible balance issue ( i dont think).I also was looking at the cables to the plugs,and one of them was really MELTED,i mean to the bare wire, on the engine block (dumass who i bought the car from told me ,brand new cables and plugs),any chance taht it could be that thats making the clicking sounds,cause its my whole engine that shakes at idle.

If the spark is jumping, it could make a ticking noise. If it is, you're probably not getting spark in that cylinder, which would make the engine shake at idle.
